My name is Shaheen Hagar. I am a child of God. I was born in Germany in 1985, to a white German mother, and a Black American father. One of five siblings, one of over 25 first cousins, an aunty to nine nieces and nephews. I am Ruby Nell’s and Erna’s grand daughter.
While the majority of my family stays in the United States, I repatriated from Germany to Gambia, in 2023, to stay with another part of my family. This change marked a personal and professional rebirth.
With a deep belief that our relationships are our most valuable asset, I help leaders develop meaningful connections with themselves, their families, teams, and audiences.
I am a passionate coach, and consultant, dedicated to (self-)leadership fostering strong, authentic relationships that drive transformation in individuals and organizations.
Leadership, in the 21st century, is about building organizations that are resilient, diverse, and capable of innovating in the face of global challenges like climate change and the death agony of capitalism.
Today’s leaders must be people who seek opportunities for genuine inner development, for themselves and those they lead.
They are able and willing to create cultures of real engagement, in which people experience the deep satisfaction that comes with seeking to contribute more than to take.
